In this chapter we looked at several standard HTTP modules. These modules provide a very rich set of functionalities by default. You can disable these modules if you please at the time of configuration. However, they will be installed by default if you don't. The list of modules and their directives in this chapter is by no means exhaustive. Nginx's online documentation can provide you with more details.
