Consulting the Map for Related Objects
One of the benefits of an NNM map is that nearby devices are easy to identify. If there is an NNM problem, nearby devices are perhaps experiencing problems too. Go to the map containing the NNM system and check the event logs for other servers, hubs, printers, switches, and routers for additional clues. There may be syslog messages available that may provide even more information.
