Chapter 6. Color-Tuned Photos

Adjusting colors in Lightroom is a snap. With Lightroom's Develop module, you get sliders that help you make global color adjustments, or you can place your cursor directly over any color in your image and alter only that color with a click and a simple up or down movement. Imagine supersaturating a red apple, or changing a soft orange sweater to bright pink without any special knowledge of color science. It is all possible with Lightroom's color controls, and this chapter will show you how. I'll also show you how to use Lightroom's Split Toning pane for subtle control over color in highlight and shadow areas and demonstrate how to create a custom camera profile as well.
