UP UNTIL NOW, WE’VE been looking at sketching techniques in isolation. It’s time to move out of the classroom and take a look at applying your new sketching skills in various ways at work.
The next three chapters contain sets of visual patterns and techniques for you to use in your own product strategy, direction, and design work. They use a mix of literal, metaphorical, and conceptual representation techniques that we’ve looked at earlier as well as some storyboarding techniques.1
This section also gives you some handy information about sharing your work with others and developing your sketching skills further.
