WebAssembly and Serverless

If you’ve been keeping up with your home game of “buzzword bingo,” then you’ve undoubtedly heard of the latest and greatest thing that claims to solve all of our problems—serverless. Since serverless is a topic that already has multiple books on its own, I didn’t want to derail the main journey of the book with a lengthy digression on it.

However, I think it’s important to provide some discussion and perspective around what serverless is, with the hype stripped away, and how WebAssembly development might fit into that rapidly expanding area of innovation.
