Graphs are a visual representation of the relationship
between two or more things. In two dimensions, this can
be the plot of one variable against another. A function
defines the relationship between the variables, and
the plot contains all points that satisfy it. Cartesian
coordinates (x and y) are oen used to represent the
points plotted against the x- and y-axis, which intersect at
the origin (0, 0). Graphs are used to help solve real-world
problems, such as displaying information gathered from
experiments or tracking changes over time. More complex
3D graphs can be created if three variables are used.
