Compiling PL/SQL Code

Compiling code in the current Procedure Editor window is easy. Click on the Compile button (leftmost button on middle toolbar) or press F9.

F9 = Compile

Notice the compiled code in Figure 4.35. The error window at the bottom will highlight any errors found. In this example, the previous line is missing a semicolon ‘;’. Sometimes the problem is not on the current line but on lines around the highlighted line.
