Laura Liswood is the secretary general of the Council of Women World Leaders, which is composed of women presidents and prime ministers, and is the former managing director and senior advisor for Global Leadership and Diversity at Goldman Sachs. After the events of 9/11, she became a reserve police officer for the Washington, DC, Metropolitan Police Department for thirteen years and retired as a sergeant. She is also the author of The Loudest Duck: Moving Beyond Diversity to Achieve Success in the Workplace.
