Paul Kendall gained a degree in accountancy and financial management from Loughborough University in 1981, and subsequently went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant in 1986.
He set up a niche practice advising businesses in the medical and dental sectors, and formed a national association of accountancy and legal businesses advising those sectors. He remained chairman of that association for many years.
He has written specialist books providing taxation and accountancy advice for businesses and professional practices.
Prior to the setting up of the niche practice, he had spent some time working in the insolvency department of an international firm of accountants, where he was able to assist failing businesses.
He retired at age 51, to look after his investments and spend his time between his holiday homes in Switzerland, Spain and the UK.
