Too many people take anything on the Internet as gospel because someone went to the trouble of putting it up on the Web. But there's a lot of stuff on the Web that's satirical, proselytizing, or just plain wrong. One of the first rules of Internet searching is trust nothing.

As you do a lot of Internet research, you will get a better sense of what's legitimate, what's not, what smells funny, and so on.
