ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Antony Easthope has taught in universities in England and the United States, and currently teaches English and Cultural Studies at Manchester Polytechnic. He has written a previous book, Poetry as Discourse, on language and ideology in the poetic tradition, and is also the author of British Post-Structuralism and Poetry and Phantasy.
