Chapter 10
Putting It All Together

I know your mind must be swooning after reading this book. There is a lot to it. There is a lot of information, but I did my best to not make this book too intense. I wanted to make sure that you had the secret formula of how to win the game of Googleopoly. I have been immersed in advanced digital marketing for 15+ years, and there is very little structured education and certification for the subject of Google, SEO, social media, online reputation, and all of the other parts of Googleopoly. Even on a collegiate level, there is no real curriculum; the schools that offer classes or degrees fall short because when someone graduates, almost all of their training is irrelevant or obsolete (things change so fast). Furthermore, each of the individual categories that I covered in this book has scarce training opportunity in the real world. But to break down all of the pieces of Googleopoly the way I have done in this book and present them as one synergistic strategy has rarely been done, and it is virtually impossible to find similar training and implementation strategies anywhere.

Here is a recap of everything covered in this book:

  • Visibility is the key. It doesn't matter who you are or what you are—a person, company, product, service, or a brand—you will need visibility to grow your fan base, build your brand, and sell yourself or your product or service.
  • There are so many opportunities for visibility, but there are also so many distractions. The best and most cost-effective way to achieve visibility is the Internet.
  • There are many ways to engage in Internet marketing and advertising, but there is nothing more powerful than Google.
  • You need to understand exactly what Google wants and understand the complete landscape of page one of Google.
  • Chapter 3 introduced the Googleopoly strategy. Basically, the reality is that only 5 percent of people go past the first page of Google. So, you want to show up as many times as possible on the first page of Google. The way you do that is to use a multiplicity of resources to dominate Google's search algorithm.
