Hats make everything better…right? I love to add hats to the characters in my drawings, paintings, and sculptures for just a tiny bit of whimsy. Here are a few ways to add hats to some of the projects in this book.
Step 1
Use a compass to make a circle. Cut the circle into wedges. A bigger wedge makes a wider hat, and a smaller wedge makes a narrower hat.
Step 2
Overlap the cut edges until the hat looks the way you like it. Use a glue stick to secure the overlap and hold until it’s dry.
Step 3
Try it on for size! This dog looks much more festive now!
