To run the sample program, go to the Kibana license manager to upgrade from a basic license to a trial license, or to obtain a platinum license. To get a free trial, we must activate a 30-day trial license to use the platinum features. Go to the Management screen and click License Management in Kibana. Then, click on the Start trial button to begin the trial license, as shown in the following screenshot:

A license description panel appears, as shown in the following screenshot. Click on the Start my trial button to continue:

Finally, a notice will tell us that the Elastic Stack trial license is active and will expire after 30 days, as shown in the following screenshot:
