Kibana 7.0 supports four types of machine learning jobs, described as follows:

• Single-metric jobs: Data analysis is performed on only one index field.
• Multi-metric jobs: Data analysis can be performed on multiple index fields; however, each field is analyzed separately.
• Advanced jobs: Data analysis can be performed on multiple index fields. Advanced jobs provide full configuration settings for detectors and influencers.
• Population jobs: Data analysis of the distribution behavior for less common data, such as detecting outliers in a population.
