Ansible does come with many plugins included in its package, but it is always possible to develop our own plugins. This will help extend Ansible's features. Ansible does help developers create new plugins by providing base classes that host several pre-written methods and functions which can be used with new plugins to prevent unnecessary coding. Also, when we have finished writing a plugin, we can easily write a simple unit test for it using Ansible's plugin API.
