To one of the strongest people I know: my mother, Deserrie. Thank you for your neverending support. I wouldn’t be who I am today without you. This book is for you, mum!
I’d like to thank the Wiley team for the opportunity to create this important book. I want to call out Ashley Coffee, Lindsay Lefevere, Kelly Ewing, and Blair Pottenger for being supportive editors throughout this project — you all made it really easy for this first-time author. Thanks also to my friend, Keith Kidd, for agreeing to lend his expertise as technical editor for this book.
Thanks to my family, friends, and loved ones for the encouragement during those long nights. Marcus, thank you for the inspiration and motivation along the way.
A huge thanks to (ISC)2 for reviewing and approving this book for publishing. There are many other people and organizations — seen and unseen — that helped make this book possible. Thank you, all!
