Appendix D: Forensic Tools

In Chapter 8, “Common Forensic Tools,” you were introduced to some of the more popular and commonly used forensic tools. This appendix acquaints you with some additional forensic tools that are available on the market. Here, you’ll find a high-level list of some of the many other tools you can use to assist in a forensic investigation. This summary list, along with the information in Chapter 8, gives you a great start in figuring out what you need to include in your forensic toolbox. You’ll also learn about some of the vendors that provide forensic investigation training to help you become a better investigator.
