QUICK TIPS TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS

Set a realistic goal. Include the What and When of the goal and write the goal in the “now” (as if you were already “there”).

Commit to the goal, verbally and in writing.

Identify the Why—your real reward for achieving the goal.

Share with a stakeholder.

Take action! Find something every day (or at least weekly) that moves you forward.

Acknowledge the roadblocks that pop up, work through them, or revise your plan around them.

Celebrate your progress and final destination. Don’t just wait for the final end result; enjoy the progress points along the way.

Use the 4R’s checkup process at regular intervals, monthly is recommended, to keep your goal achievement on track: Review your goal; Renew your commitment; Revise the goal as needed; Replace unnecessary goals.
