Roxanne Coble
Roxanne (a.k.a. By Bun) is a mixed-media artist, illustrator, and maker of things. Known for her detailed art journaling, her work fuses both mixed-media and painted illustration. Inspired by all things macabre, she creates pages that embrace a balance of humor and dark emotional themes—all while exploring topical events that occur in her personal life. Her work has been featured on the cover of Art Journaling Magazine and more recently as guest artist work on the PBS show Make It Artsy. Currently, Roxanne works as an artist and freelance art educator in Los Angeles.

Andrea Gomoll
Andrea is a mixed-media artist and illustrator from Berlin, Germany, where she lives with her husband, Thomas, and two crazy cats. Watercolor is her medium of choice, but in a less traditional way—she loves to combine it with inks, markers, collage, and lots of texture for a unique mixed-media look. She has a whimsical style; she loves colorful illustrations and playful big-eyed girl portraits. She loves to inspire others with her creative creations and to enable others to lead a creative life by teaching art (online) classes.

Effy Wild
Effy has been using art journaling as a way to meet herself on the page since 2009. She teaches online, runs Journal52 and #MiniMoleyDaily, and offers full length and mini (some free) workshops in her teaching network at www.learn.effybird.com. She also blogs at www.effywild.com. Effy considers herself a journal artist, and her emphasis is always on process over finished product. She lives in Ontario with her lovely dog, Sookie, and works from her home studio.

Alena Hennessy
Alena began making art at a very young age, way before she could write. She would spend hours upon hours drawing on the back of her grandmother’s dittos from school, making up imaginary worlds of all sorts of characters and scenes. Since then, her love of creating has evolved, branching out with a deep desire to assist others in finding their true voice in painting and mixed-media art.
Alena is the author of Cultivating Your Creative Life, The Painting Workbook, and Intuitive Painting Workshop and a beloved teacher of the art-making process, both online and at select retreats. Her work has been featured in numerous magazines and other publications, including Dwell, the Washington Post, Somerset Life, Spirituality & Health, ReadyMade, Redbook, Stitch, Victoria, and Natural Health, as well as featured on Good Morning America and pilot shows for ABC Studios. Her paintings have been exhibited across major cities in the United States, along with several museum shows. Alena is also a flower essence practitioner, a Reiki master, and an energy healer. Through grace and intuitive guideposts, she calls the beautiful town of Asheville, North Carolina, her home. As a facilitator, her intention is that each participant leave a little more transformed, content, and open to wild possibility.
Mystele Kirkeeng
Mystele is a self-taught acrylic and mixed-media outsider/folk artist living in Illinois by way of Texas. Her work focuses mainly on imaginary female subjects with wonder, hope, and encouragement as underlying themes.

Ivy Newport
Ivy is a published mixed-media artist, art instructor, and creative guide. Her online collection of artistic workshops has served thousands of students internationally. She strongly believes that every soul is creative, and finding ways to express that creativity is paramount to joy and healing. She currently lives in Portland, Oregon, with her husband and two daughters.
