Referencing the External Web Service
For this application, you'll be using a Web Service that is hosted at the xmethods.net Web site.This site has an ever-growing list of publicly available Web Services running on a variety of platforms. The Web Service that you'll be using for this application can be found at http://services.xmethods.net/soap/urn:xmethods-delayed-quotes.wsdl?.
To add this Web Service as a reference in your solution, perform the following steps:

Right-click References in the Solution Explorer window and select Add Web Reference from the pop-up menu. |

The dialog that appears allows you to enter the URL to the Web Service that you want to use. Type the URL into the box on the top of the dialog. |

When you press the Enter key, the left side of the window will open up the WSDL (Web Services Description Language) code for the Web Service, and the Add Reference button will be enabled at the bottom of the dialog. Click the Add Reference button to add this reference. |
