If there is an anchor to Vancouver’s gay community, Little Sister’s is it. More than a bookstore, this is a long-standing institution that has taken Canada Customs to the Supreme Court of Canada in its fight for freedom from censorship. There is a good selection of literature, event tickets, gift items, clothing, DVDs, and various play things.

There are several steep but maintained trails, and during the warmer months many vendors sell refreshments and beach fare.
