Chapter 3. How to Successfully Deploy Six Sigma

A key point to remember from previous chapters is that jumping on the Six Sigma bandwagon is no guarantee of success.

We will take another look at the case studies in Chapter 2 to elaborate on the key factors that led to significant—or minimal—success in Six Sigma. We will show how to analyze the keys to a successful Six Sigma deployment and how they can be integrated into an overall, step-by-step process. In subsequent chapters we will provide more detail and specifics on how to effectively move through each deployment phase.
