Manipulating the DOM

We can’t write web applications without accessing and manipulating the DOM.^[6] Sadly, Dart can’t do away entirely with established and often maddening aspects of the DOM API. Happily, Dart does provide a compatibility library that reestablishes some sanity when manipulating web pages.
