This volume, Volume One, starts with easy and fun models to help you gradually familiarize yourself with the subject. Part I, comprising three chapters, introduces elementary topics in econometrics. Chapter 1 reviews basic statistics and primer Excel operations. Chapter 2 offers the first linear model of simple regression analysis. Chapter 3 extends the model to multiple regressions.
Part II, also comprising three chapters, guides you into intermediate topics in econometrics. Chapter 4 discusses modeling issues and regression problems in cross-sectional data. Chapter 5 analyzes three simple dynamic models for time-series data. Chapter 6 introduces panel data and simple techniques to handle this type of data.
