Appendix

Final words

I am honestly so happy for you if you are reading this! You started with little to no knowledge of Filmora but through your dedication and hard work, you’ve accumulated the skills and information needed to tackle many advanced projects.

As a reminder, throughout this book, we have covered many things, but let’s recap a little bit.

In Chapter 1, we discovered how video editing is used in the modern world and the reasons to use Filmora 11 instead of other video editing software along with some examples. In Chapter 2, you were introduced to Filmoras’ interface, creating new projects, and our media libraries. In Chapters 3 and 4, we saw how to import and add video clips and audio clips to the timeline while also looking at some editing tools such as Splitting and Trimming. Audio editing was also something we looked at along with how to create voiceovers. Following that, in the next four chapters, we practiced the tools that Filmora 11 offers in regard to effects, transitions, chroma keys, split screens, and more. Let’s also not forget all the cool and innovative ways AI (or artificial intelligence) was integrated within Filmora 11. And finally, from Chapter 9 through Chapter 12, we created videos based on different situations, for example, creating a gaming video. And at the very end of it all, we discussed a few career paths that you may want to follow now that you have these skills and knowledge.
