Tim Weithers is a Managing Director at UBS and runs a team of professional educators based out of UBS’s primary U.S. office in Stamford, Connecticut, which houses the largest trading floor in the world. Prior to working at UBS, he worked at O’Connor and Associates, Swiss Bank Corporation, as well as NationsBanc-CRT. Before joining the world of the practitioner, Tim was a part of the academic community; he taught at the University of Chicago and at Fordham University in New York for several years. He continues to teach (Foreign Exchange among other things) in the University of Chicago’s Graduate Program on Financial Mathematics. Tim received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago a long time ago.
