NAME
     vparutil - get and set SCSI parameters for disk devices from a virtual
     partition

SYNOPSIS
     vparutil -g dev_path

     vparutil -s dev_path [id] [rate]

DESCRIPTION
     The vparutil command gets and sets SCSI paramaters for a specified
     SCSI device from a running virtual partition system.

     Only a superuser can execute the vparutil command.

   Options
     vparutil recognizes the following command-line options:

        -g    Gets the SCSI parameters for the specified SCSI disk device,
              dev_path.

        -s    Sets the SCSI parameters for the specified SCSI disk device,
              dev_path.

        vparutil recognizes the following command-line operands:

        dev_path            The device path of the SCSI disk device.

        Id                  The SCSI ID for the specified disk device.

        rate                The SCSI rate for the specified disk device.

EXAMPLES
     Set the SCSI ID for disk at 0/0/2/0.6.0 to 3:

  # vparutil -s 0/0/2/0.6.0 3

RETURN VALUE
  0 Successful.
  1 Could not communicate with virtual partition monitor.
  >1 Other error.
