The Output window is a very important window for a developer, as all the logs and outputs of your build and debugging can be viewed here. If you build your application and it fails, you can use the Output window to figure out what went wrong and fix the issue. If your build runs successfully, you will get a message that the build was successful in the Output window, as shown in the following screenshot:

You can view the different types of logs, such as your version control logs, in this window. To change the options, go to the drop-down menu next to the Show output from text and view the log of a particular output. You can clear the logs by clicking on the icon that has horizontal lines and a red cross and toggle the word-wrapping function using the next icon.
