Installing and Using NAT

  1. Install NAT on a Windows 2000 Server computer. Configure a local area interface and a connection to the Internet.

  2. Configure a pool of private IP addresses.

  3. Configure clients to use NAT (DHCP) to obtain their IP address. Verify that they are assigned an address and that they can access the Internet via the NAT server.

  4. Configure a NAT special port and verify that the server can be accessed via the Internet.
