NONPROFITS

Aikido Without Borders (AWB) is an NGO using aikido to teach young people on both sides of the conflict concrete and positive replacements for violence, hatred, and aggression. By bringing these young people together to have joint trainings in aikido and conflict resolution, AWB is creating new and lasting connections that lead towards a more peaceful future. Currently, they are working with Israeli and Palestinian youth; however, they plan to expand to other populations.

The Mastery Institute for the Public Benefit is an experiment in multi-sector collaboration, created by Aimee Bernstein and The Spirit of Giving Network in Boca Raton, Florida. Working with CEOs/executive directors of organizations that serve the public, the institute helps them expand their organizational and leadership impact. As part of this endeavor, mind/body/energy training is available to participants to help them skillfully handle the demands and pressure of their work.

Aiki Extensions is dedicated to applying and promoting the principles and methods of the nonviolent martial art of aikido in all aspects of life. We accomplish this through

Action—Extending aiki principles and methods to novel training sites, problem situations, and areas of conflict.

Collaboration—Supporting and enhancing communication among the world’s largest community of aiki practitioners.

Exploration—Pursuing and promoting deeper understanding of the application and effect of aiki principles in the world.
