Mashhood has built products as a software developer, helped launch solutions to market as a product manager, driven strategy for half-billion-dollar product line, spearheaded innovation-led sales programs, driven co-innovation projects with customers in various industries, led digital transformation initiatives for world’s top enterprises, advised numerous start-ups and converted several ideas into businesses during the course of his career.
Mashhood has been granted six US patents and won two prestigious design awards, including the Red Dot Award for innovative design concept for a citizen-centric information portal. Mashhood has been a guest speaker at several industry events as well as mentored numerous start-ups in many Silicon Valley boot camps. He regularly speaks to C-level audiences on innovation and digital transformation. He has also been a guest lecturer at various business and entrepreneurial schools, including University of California, Berkeley.
Mashhood holds a bachelor’s degree in computer systems engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology, a master’s in systems sciences from Louisiana State University and a master’s in business administration from Santa Clara University.
