Appendix E. Setting Up Database Connectivity for DB2 UDB for z/OS and DB2 UDB for iSeries
In Chapter 6, Configuring Client and Server Connectivity, you read about several connectivity scenarios where DB2 UDB for Linux, UNIX, and Windows behaved as the client. In this appendix, you will learn scenarios where DB2 UDB for z/OS and DB2 UDB for iSeries behave as the clients. In some of the scenarios, DB2 UDB for Linux, UNIX, and Windows behaves as the server.
The appendix is divided into two parts.
Part I covers connectivity involving DB2 UDB for z/OS Version 8.
Part II covers connectivity involving DB2 for iSeries Version 5.2.
