Let's test our site in IE using Adobe BrowserLab.
- Go to https://browserlab.adobe.com.
- You'll need to sign in with an Adobe user ID, so if you don't have one, create one and then sign in.
- Select the browsers you want to test for in the dropdown list.
- Type in the URL of the page you want to test and hit Return.
- Your page will be displayed as it renders in the browser you've selected.
We tested our theme using BrowserLab. Here's how it looks in IE9:
As you can see, there are some issues with the sidebar, as it uses a gradient for its background—IE isn't picking that up. This means that we need to adjust the background-color property for that element (or the relevant class) in our IE-only stylesheet to fix the problem.
