We successfully deployed an application using AWS CodeDeploy, but we did put the application zip file manually in the S3 bucket and triggered the deployment manually. Now, if we want the application to get build and automatically get uploaded to S3, and from S3 the application should automatically get deployed to the EC2 instance, then we need to implement Pipeline, which senses the event and triggers automatically. To implement pipeline in AWS, we will be using AWS CodePipeline, which we are going to look in next topic.
