Open Standards and the IBM Portfolio

The IBM portfolio of products and services is impressive. IBM strives to lead in the invention, development, and manufacture of the industry's most advanced information technologies, including computer systems, software, storage systems and microelectronics.

With thousands of products—software, hardware, and services—it is vital to IBM's future success that it installs open standards wherever possible, practical, and beneficial for customers.
