MEDITATION

Since deciding not to medicate, you know you need to find some way to stop the panic attacks. After extensive internet research, you sign up for some mindfulness classes at a yoga studio down the street from your office. You start learning about breath work and meditation, both of which prove to be immensely valuable both in managing your anxiety and in helping you fall asleep at night.

You then start taking yoga classes there during your lunch hour. It is in one such class, after setting your intention to listen to your inner voice, that you have an epiphany: anxiety isn’t inherent to you, it is something that your job is bringing out in you. This idea coalesces in your mind until you realize you need to do something about it. You start a job search.

As you do, you continue on to Chapter 58.
