ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Eric Vanderburg directs consulting teams at JurInnov, an e-discovery and e-security firm headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. He has spent more than 15 years in the information technology and security field specializing in complex storage systems, database management systems, e-commerce, cloud computing, and big data projects. He is also a licensed private investigator with undergraduate degrees in computer information systems and technology and a master’s of business administration. He is a continual learner and has earned more than 30 technology certifications, including the CompTIA Storage+ and vendor storage certifications from EMC and Hitachi Data Systems.
Eric partnered with Hitachi Data Systems in 2008 to test its Essential NAS product and has deployed numerous large enterprise storage and information systems for clients around the world. Eric has served as an expert witness in security, databases, and storage trials and is a trusted adviser and subject-matter expert for his clients. He has been interviewed on radio and television programs and is regularly invited to present on technology topics.
