Switching to Tablet App Development

Our phones, tablets, and other little pieces of metal and plastic consume our day-to-day free time. What's really the difference and why does it matter to you, the developer? Well, for you, the difference matters in some instances but not in others. And although the code you write may be the same, the user interface (UI) is completely different, and the usability of both of these platforms can differ quite a bit. In this chapter, I delve into the differences you'll encounter (and need to account for) while developing for tablet devices using the Android 3.2 platform.
