Acknowledgements

No one walks alone and when one is walking on the journey of life, one starts thanking those who joined, walked and helped along the way. From the bottom of my heart, I thank my mother, Mrs Ranju Chugh, and father, Mr Arun Kumar Chugh, for their patience, enthusiasm and belief in me. I would also like to thank them for providing me with plenty of opportunities to be where I am. Without them, none of this would ever have been possible.

I would like to thank my dear wife, Aatika, who has had to live with my extended hours of work as I wrote these chapters. She stood by me and has been the inspiration that has driven me onwards. I would also like to thank my sister, Ankita, and her husband, Varun, for their enormous support and confidence.

My little angel, Sinhayana, also deserves a special mention as she, in her own way, has inspired me.

I would also like to thank my wonderful father-in-law, Mr Bhuvneshwar Nanda, and mother-in-law, Mrs Sneh Nanda, whose encouragement and credence have always lifted my spirits.

My friend and co-author Divik Maheshwari is the person I entrusted my faith in and who, as always, lived up to my expectations, which resulted in the derivation of this book. I want to thank him for all his time and efforts but just a mere thanks is not enough. His kind endeavour will remain in my thoughts forever.

I also want to acknowledge people who worked as a team and supported me and Divik Maheshwari in any possible manner. Thanks to Mr A. K. Maheshwari and Mrs Neeta Maheshwari (Divik Maheshwari’s parents) for their efforts in improvising the book and my students Rajat Bansal, Manoj Saini, Vikas Garg and Hargun Singh for spending many hours sitting by their keyboard and typing out the words which I dictated to them.

I would like to extend my appreciation to my student Nutan Priyadarshini whose late night sittings, and focused and passionate efforts have led to the creation of this beautifully and creatively crafted book.

I would also like to bestow my humble gratitude to my teachers at school and college, who enabled me to enter the sea of knowledge with the right foundation.

Last but not least, I would like to express my gratitude to my grandparents, the touch of whose lotus feet have blessed me with success in all my endeavours, and to my relatives and friends, whose love and support have always been there for me.

I would like to express my humble gratitude to my teachers at school and college, who enabled me to enter the sea of knowledge with strong academic foundations.
