Azure Security Center for IoT

Edge analytics applications that use Azure can use Azure Security Center for IoT. The following is a diagram of its architecture:

Using the SDK security message, Azure IoT devices send security information to IoT Hub. IoT Hub then forwards this information to analytics modules before passing it along to the Azure Security Center and IoT Security dashboards. Threat intelligence is sent to the IoT Security and Azure Security Center dashboards through the use of the security analytics module.

From the Azure Security Center and IoT Security dashboards, the user can view the security of all their cloud and on-premises workloads, including IoT solutions in Azure, in a unified format. With these services, the user can manage the security policies of their Edge devices and IoT Hub.

With Microsoft Threat Protection and security analytics, the user has an edge over cyber attacks through the use of Microsoft-developed machine learning algorithms that identify the attack. Microsoft invests heavily in threat-protection intelligence in order to offer its customers peace of mind about the security of their Azure deployments.
