Summary

In this chapter, we learned how to use some core tenets of the language to write readable Go code. We learned how simplicity and readability are important, and how packaging, naming, and formatting are vital to writing readable Go. Also, we learned how interfaces, methods, inheritance, and reflection can all be used to write code that others can understand. Being able to use these core Go concepts effectively will help you produce more efficient code.

In the next chapter, we are going to learn about memory management in Go and how to optimize for the memory resources that we have at hand.
