You will need a Raspberry Pi, a 5v 1amp Micro-USB power supply, HDMI or composite-enabled monitor, a 4 GB or larger SD card, network connection, a USB mouse and keyboard, and a computer running Linux, Mac OS X, or Windows.

You should also download the latest version of Raspbian, the official Raspberry Pi operating system, from http://www.raspberrypi.org. You need the version of Python that comes with Raspbian, and the Minecraft for Pi software available at http://pi.minecraft.net/.
