In this chapter, we learned the basics of text output. Now, we are able to print text to the screen, keep it in view by attaching it to an HUD, and support multiple languages. We have discussed the caveats and limitations of AndEngine text implementation.
We also learned how to use Android logging to print development text and how to access it.
In the next chapter, we will look into touch and tilt controls and start moving our character around.
