Docker Hub is a public space called a registry, containing more than 2 million public Docker images that have been deposited by companies, communities, and even individual users.
To register on Docker Hub and list Docker images, perform the following steps:
- Go to https://hub.docker.com/ and click on the Sign up for Docker Hub button:
- Fill in the form with a unique ID, an email, and a password.
- Once your account is created, you can then log in to the site, and this account will allow you to upload custom images and download Docker Desktop.
- To view and explore the images available from Docker Hub, go to the Explore section:
A list of Docker images is displayed with a search filter to search for official images or images from verified publishers, as well as images certified by Docker.
