The DisMax query provides an interface that looks similar to Google. The DisMax Query Parser supports the simplified syntax of the Lucene query parser. Quotes can be used for grouping phrases. The DisMax Query Parser escapes all Boolean operators to simplify the query syntax, except the operators AND and OR, which can be used to determine mandatory and optional clauses.
