In this Part we take a broader view than the previous Parts. In Chapter 12, we show you some other technologies, like laser cutting, foam armor creation, and vacuum forming, that are frequenly used by cosplayers to replicate things that are not supposed to be made of cloth. Chapter 13 concludes the main part of the book by looking at where all of this can lead, with examples of high-end fashion designers that are using these technologies now and some speculation as to how these techniques may enter the mainstream sooner than you might think.

We have also included two appendices that will help you explore the topics in this book some more. In Appendix A, we give you the benefit of our experience with designing a high school pilot class which had fashion tech components (both what worked well, and what we would do differently). Appendix B captures all the links in the book in one ready reference.
