All of the API calls in Redash support authentication with an API key. Redash has two types of API keys:

• User API Key: This has the same permissions as the user who owns it, and can be found on the user profile page. Click on Users in the top-right corner and choose Edit Profile:

• Query API Key: This only has access to the query and its results, and can be found on the query page. Click on the query menu (1) and choose Show API Key (2):

After clicking on Show API Key, you should get the following screen where you can see the key, and  an example of how to use it in an actual API call (you can actually test that by copying the URL and pasting it into your browser window):
