33. THE JUDGING TRIANGLE
* The Judging Triangle provides a critical sense check for any idea.
* Is it on brief? If not, then go no further.
* Is it enactable? If it can’t be done, then it doesn’t count as a true idea.
* Is it viable? If the financial case is insufficient, then it is not going to benefit anyone.
* Unlike the Meatloaf song Two Out Of Three Ain’t Bad, you need to be able to tick all three criteria with confidence in order to confirm that an idea is worth pursuing.
EXERCISE: Take each idea in turn and subject it to scrutiny. As soon as it fails any of the criteria, reject it, or change a fundamental part of it in order to make it acceptable.
