WRITING RESPONSE GROUPS

To get this reaction to your writing, form your own writing response group. Members can be friends, co-workers, family, or any combination. What’s important initially is to have impartial observers read your writing and react to it. Moreover, the closer the group conforms to your selected audience, the more likely you are to get an accurate audience reaction.

How big should you make your response group? Three to five people work well together. Any smaller and you get too little feedback; any larger and you rarely have enough control to get anything done. And how will you expect others to react? How would you react in the same circumstances?
